The University of Nevada–Reno School of Medicine and Montana State University, in concert with The National Avalanche Center, are doing a brief survey of backcountry ski and snowboard use. Researchers will use the data to help them understand if/how winter backcountry use has changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. If you ski or snowboard in the backcountry (out of bounds), A3 encourages you to take the survey. Researchers estimate that it should take no more than 5 minutes.
